I am known mostly as a wedding photographer. I love all things pretty and filled with love and light. When Jon and Jen asked me to photograph their birth story, I was honored and thrilled to be a part of this moment in their lives! No birth story is the same, and as a photographer who has never had a child it is often difficult for me to just document and not help. Especially when the birth doesn’t always go as planned. After getting to know Jon and Jen during their maternity session I felt like we had known each other forever. When I got the call that Jen had been admitted to the hospital, I jumped in my car and raced to their labor and deliver room at Katz Women’s Center expecting things to go very quickly… or not so quickly in this case. 16 excruciating hours of labor and a C-Section Jen and Jon finally welcomed Kennedy Lee into their lives on December 8th, 2013. I could not be happier for them! They are amazing parents and I am privileged to call them my friends!
